Emma and Liz took 4th and 6th respectively. Not bad for first race of the season in sub-freezing weather and a crash in the second lap.

First race of the season for any of the team, and Nan rocked the Tour de Newark in Branchbrook Park, Newark to take third in the women's 3/4 race.

Without teammates, she played it smart, figuring out who the competition was (including local favorite Betty Tyrell) and waiting for the right moment to pull out her finishing sprint.
